Clothing Drive - We will be collecting new and gently used men's, women's and children’s clothing, shoes, purses, belts, bed and bath linens and stuffed animals. Every piece helps! We also accept bicycles and baby strollers. NO Pillows, Books, Toys, Furniture, Appliances, or Household items. All clean wearable clothing and shoes are reused by less fortunate people and families; it does not end up in landfills thereby helping to keep America green and clean. This fundraising event supports the Friends of the Middletown Library and library programs and services. Saturday, October 21st, in the parking lot 9:00 am – 11:00 am.

Since 1865, this literary classic has been a favorite among young readers and this acting group can’t wait to bring it to life for us. Read to a Dog and Reading Buddies for Younger Siblings - A relaxed, “dog-friendly” atmosphere allowing students to practice reading skills by reading aloud to a dog for five minutes.There will be teen reading buddies for younger siblings to practice with prior to their “dog time.” For independent readers grades K-5.Wednesday, October 18th @ 4:00 pm.
