$7,000 Credit Card Fraud Arrest: Millburn Police

Christendutt Prettipaul was charged with forgery, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A 26-year-old Bronx, NY, man was arrested and charged with forgery, impersonating another, and receiving stolen property on Aug. 20, according to the Millburnb Police Department.

Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to Bloomingdale's on a fraud report where personnel reported a man, later identified as Christendutt Prettipaul, attempted to purchase two Tag Heuer watches valued at $7,700 with a stolen credit card.

Prettipaul was stopped in a 2016 Audi A6 leaving the mall, police said. Prettipaul was placed under arrest and charged with forgery, impersonating another, and receiving stolen property before being released on a summons, police said.
