Resident Calls for SpeedβLimit Reduction and Noise Controls on Wyoming Avenue (tapinto.net) β A Millburn resident is urging the Township Committee to push Essex County for a lower 25 mph speed limit and noise controls on Wyoming Avenue, especially near Wyoming School and a nearby nursery school. She cited speeding on the downhill stretch, heavy truck traffic, and loud engine braking, and asked for clearer rules on truck weight limits and signage to protect children walking to school.

Investigators say the dispute began over an Uber pickup location and a canceled ride, ending with the driver's arrest on charges including terroristic threats and unlawful weapon possession.

Police Chase In Millburn Involved Stolen Car, 2 Apprehended: Authorities (patch.com) β A recent police chase involving a stolen BMW began near Millburn Avenue and Lackawanna Place after Millburn police tried to stop the vehicle, which had been reported stolen from Edgewater. Officers ended the pursuit for safety, but a State Police auto theft task force later disabled the car in Irvington and arrested two suspects, including a juvenile, with the driver facing multiple charges.
