Apple Store Taken For Nearly $3K In Goods: Millburn Cops

A total of 19 Apple Pencils and 3 Black Magic trackpads were taken, according to police.

MILLBURN, NJ - Police are searching for the man who stole nearly $3,000 in merchandise from the Apple Store on Jan. 9, authorities said.

Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to the Apple store at The Mall at Short Hills on Jan. 10 on a theft report that occurred on Jan 9, police said. Apple personnel reported a black male took 19 Apple Pencils and 3 Black Magic trackpads valued at $2,898 and left the store without making payment, police said.

According to authorities, the suspect was wearing a black puffy jacket, grey sweatsuit, and grey sneakers along with a black male wearing a black puffy jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
