Acclaimed author Belva Plain, who penned more than 20 bestselling novels, died in her Short Hills home Tuesday, according to an Associated Press report. She was 95.
Her first novel "Evergreen" was published in 1978, and it spent more than 40 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list, according to the report. Never owning a computer, she wrote her novels longhand on yellow pads of paper, according to the AP.
