Based on Lois Lowry's Newbery Award-winning novel, Mia plays the role of a young Jewish girl living in Copenhagen during World War II.

Eight-year old Mia Sinclair Jenness is currently in rehearsals for the 25th Anniversary production of Lois Lowry’s Newbery-Award winning novel, Number the Stars.

BASED ON TRUE EVENTS
On September 29, 1943, word got out in Denmark that Jews were to be relocated. Within hours the Danish resistance, population and police arranged a small flotilla to bring 7,000 Jews to Sweden. The heroism of an entire nation reminds us that there was pride and human decency in the world even during a time of war.
