FREE Flamenco Dance Workshop

The Connection for Women and Families hosting a FREE Flamenco Dance workshop on Sunday, February 26th from 2-3:30pm. This workshop is free and open to the public – membership is not required. Registration preferred.

No matter what age or prior dance experience, participants will enjoy learning the art of Flamenco dance with live guitar accompaniment. The workshop will be instructed by Toni Messina, one of the foremost flamenco instructors in the region. She has studied dance for over 20 years and is the founder of the “Viva Flamenco” group. Her teaching environment embraces all interested learners no matter age or experience level.

Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
