Feeling Like Fall at the Farmers Market
There are plenty of apples and pumpkins for the picking at the market.
Fall doesn't officially arrive until Wednesday, but there were plenty of hints of it at the Millburn Farmers Market on Tuesday. There were pumpkins and apples for the picking from the various farm vendors. Plus there are plans for a fall apple festival coming to the farmers market this fall, but the final details are still being hammered out. The market played host to a peach festival in July. Also, those visiting the market each week can get samplings from downtown restaurants as one will give a cooking demonstration each week. The farmers market is held each Tuesday at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lot 1 at the corner of Main and Essex streets.
