Final Day to Vote for Cho in Big Break Competition

Toys for Tots continues, South Mountain Poets meet, the Paper Mill Playhouse collects coats and the MHS Key Club needs bands to play this weekend.

1. Tuesday is your final day to  in the Big Break competition. Closing in the YouTube competition closes at 11:59 p.m. Cho, a cellist, is competing for a chance to play on From the Top radio broadcast and in the Carnegie Hall Family Concert.

2. The Millburn Police Department's Toys for Tots campaign continues, and there are only a few days left to donate. Saturday is the final day for the collection. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at , any elementary school, the and . Millburn-Short Hills Patch also will be at Starbucks on Thursday at 1-3 p.m., which includes giveaways for those who donate.

3. The South Mountain Poets meets at 7 p.m. at the for one of its two meetings this month. The group reviews and critiques each other's work during the sessions. For more information and how to join the group, visit the group's website.

4. The is holding its 15th annual coat drive supporting Jersey Cares. Coats can be dropped in the theater's lobby before the end of the month. The playhouse collected 800 coats a year ago. Jersey Cares distributes the coats to men, women and children in need throughout the state.
