Have You Paid Your Taxes Yet?

First-quarter tax payments must be made by Tuesday. Temple B'nai Jeshurun has a guest speaker. Lacrosse registration is happening now.

1. Have you paid your taxes yet? Taxes were due on Tuesday, but you have until this coming Monday to pay your first-quarter payment. Payments can be made at the tax collector's office in , placed in the drop box outside town hall or paid online at the township's website. (This article was updated to reflect the proper due date)

2. will host visiting guest speaker Rabbi Ayala Miron on Friday at 5:30 p.m.  She is the founder of Bavat Ayin Congregation in Rosh HaAyin, Israel, a stop on any B’nai Jeshurun trip to Israel.  She will speak about Reform Judaism, known as Progressive Judaism, in Israel today.

3. If you're interested in running for the Board of Education, candidate packets are available at the . They include a petition that needs signatures, and it needs to be submitted before March 8 at 4 p.m. at the Education Center. The kits are available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (except President's Day on Feb. 21). The school election is April 27.

4. Information was distributed this week about tickets to the March 1 showing of "The Race to Nowhere" at , but the showing is already sold out.

5. Registration for boys and girls lacrosse is ongoing. To register your boy in grades 1-8, click here. You will need a U.S. lacrosse number, which you can get by clicking here. Girls lacrosse registration closes on Feb. 9. For more information on registering girls in grades 1-8, click here.
