Man Arrested For $1,250 Watch Theft: Millburn Police

Gregory Singletary allegedly took 14 watches and left without paying for them, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A 52-year-old Newark man decided it was time to take more than dozen watches without paying for them, according to the Millburn Police Department.

On Dec. 16 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to Macy's on a theft report where Macy's personnel said Gregory Singletary concealed 14 watches valued at $1,250 in a bag and left the store without making payment, according to authorities.

Singletary was placed under arrest, issued a summons, and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility, police said.
