Millburn Cops Get Scruffy For Charity
No Shave November fundraiser provides money for autism research.
MILLBURN, NJ - For the seventh time in as many years members of the Millburn Police Department are participating in “No Shave November,” in which officers “pay” for the privilege of growing facial hair for the month.
The funds raised have always been used for charitable donation. For 2019, the Millburn Police Department will be raising money for Organization for Autism Research (OAR). According to their website, Organization for Autism Research is an organization founded and led by parents and grandparents of children with autism, who serve as the Board of Directors providing leadership, life experience, and heart.
