Millburn Eats: Local Spots and Restauranteurs Nominated For N.J. Awards

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn will have a hometown connection to root for in the first Garden State Culinary Arts Awards.

According to the Garden State Culinary Arts Awards, Common Lot in Millburn has been nominated in the Best New Restaurant category for "displaying excellence in food and service, establishing a distinctive voice and promising to set high standards for years to come."

All candidates in the competition will receive votes from 100 independent judges around the state, including journalists, food writers, cookbook authors and other culinary experts. The top three vote-getters in each category will be announced publicly in April, and after a follow up vote, the final winners will be announced on Saturday, May 6, during a ceremony presented by Buy-Rite Liquors.
