Millburn Firefighters Provide Mutual Aid for Newark Five-Alarm Fire
They covered a firehouse during Wednesday's blaze and answered one call.

Millburn firefighters were called to Newark on Wednesday as one of the departments that provided mutual aid for a five-alarm fire, but they weren't actually at the fire.
The Millburn crew covered a firehouse on South Orange Avenue during Wednesday's blaze that hospitalized 19 firefighters. Capt. James Boyle, who was with the crew, said the Millburn firefighters answered one call during their time in Newark, a commercial fire alarm. There were three or four other calls for service throughout the city during the fire.
The fire was on South 20th and Ferdinand streets, and is under investigation. Read the full Star-Ledger report by clicking here.
