Millburn HS Winter Band Concert: Free Event On Feb. 7
The Millburn High School's annual Winter Band Concert on Feb. 7 is free and open to the public.

MILLBURN, NJ — The Music Department of Millburn High School will present its annual Winter Band Concert on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
Ensembles are under the direction of Mindy Scheierman, Director of Bands and Matthew Spatz, Associate Director of Bands.
According to a school news release, the Concert Band, an ensemble of ninth grade musicians, will perform works by Frank Ticheli, Bob Margolis, and Samuel Hazo. The Wind Ensemble, an advanced ensemble of accelerated level band students in grades 9-12, will perform a folk suite set by Dmitri Shostakovich. The two Symphonic Bands comprised of student musicians in grades 10, 11, and 12, will perform works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Henry Fillmore, Leland Forsblad, and John Phillip Sousa. The concert will conclude with a West Side Story medley, celebrating the life and music of Leonard Bernstein in his 100th birthday year.
