Millburn Primary Election Results 2022: Get Tuesday Vote Totals Here

Check back as we continually update the vote totals in the 2022 primary elections in Millburn.

MILLBURN, NJ — The voting ended at 8 p.m. and the results are being tallied in local and congressional primary races across New Jersey. Preliminary results in the Millburn race, as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, are below. They will be updated later in the week.

Millburn Township Committee: Voting Results

In Millburn, five residents registered to run for two Township Committee seats. Three Democrats faced off in Tuesday's primary primary to get the party nomination to run against the two Republicans in November. Here are preliminary numbers as of Tuesday:

Democrats (As of 10:30 PM Tuesday)

  • Michael Cohen, a retired financial professional: 1,025
  • Jeff Feld, an attorney and business owner: 366
  • Annette Romano, local Democratic party chair and former health and safety director with the American Red Cross: 935

Republicans (As of 10:30 PM Tuesday)

  • Oyin Owolabi, a former Board of Education member: 214
  • Michael Rozansky, a retired small business owner: 215

Updated numbers will be here. Keep in mind that some ballots were mailed in on Tuesday.

Cohen and Romano were endorsed by the local Democratic party.

Two of the five current Millburn Township Committee members will leave office on Dec. 31, 2022.

Congressional

Voters in Millburn are also able to cast a ballot in New Jersey's 11th Congressional District race.

That seat is currently held by Rep. Mikie Sherrill, a Democrat who first won in 2018. She didn't face a Democratic primary challenge on Tuesday. But five Republicans vied to challenge her.

The Republican candidates for Sherrill's seat were Tayfun Selen, Paul DeGroot, Ruth McAndrew, Alexander R. Halter and Toby Anderson. Check Millburn Patch for a story on the totals in the that primary.

The general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8 (see the timeline in New Jersey here).
