Millburn Gives Remote Learning And School Closing Update
The superintendent cited Gov. Phil Murphy as saying that schools won't reopen before May 9, amid the coronavirus crisis.

MILLBURN, NJ — Millburn Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christine Burton provided an update on Thursday about the district's remote learning plans, and noted that schools won't reopen until at least May 9.
"Yesterday Governor Murphy extended the public-health emergency in New Jersey by 30 days to May 9," Burton wrote. "Schools will not reopen before that date, and he hinted that it is unlikely that they would open anytime soon thereafter. Millburn Schools will continue to operate virtually while these orders are in place. We are looking forward to providing virtual learning enhancements that will be underway as of Monday when students and teachers return from Spring Break."
