Millburn Schools Superintendent To Host Open Forum
The annual conversation with the superintendent and board will be held Sunday, following an overview of the coming $20.5 referendum.

MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn Township Board of Education will hold its 11th annual Open Forum, a conversation with Dr. Christine Burton and the board, this Sunday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Millburn Public Library Auditorium. However, for those who would like to learn more about Tuesday's upcoming $20.5 million Capital & Maintenance Plan Referendum, Dr. Burton will present an overview at 1 p.m., just prior to the annual forum.
The district sent a release explaining, "Members of the community are invited to meet the new members of the Board of Education, and take advantage of this annual occasion to ask questions and get answers about the school budget, referendum projects, and other school issues."
Also, "As this is not a formal business meeting, the forum allows for a more informal give-and-take between the board and members of the public. This is a way to get to know members of the board and the administration, and learn about issues that may not be discussed in depth at regular board or PTO meetings. The relaxed setting will provide an opportunity for thoughtful dialogue on a variety of topics."
