In Millburn: Stolen Audi, Car Burglaries, Mall Shoplifting, Bicycle Theft, Warrants
Police Blotter: July 16 to 21

Editor’s Note: The following incidents are taken directly from the Millburn police blotter, which may not include the full scope of police activity in the area. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
On July 16, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Derosa took a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The Tioga Pass resident reports sometime overnight his 2012 Audi A8 was taken from his driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On July 18, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Laverty took a report of a theft of a bicycle. The resident reports chaining her Trek road bike to a post near the Millburn Train Station between July 17 and 18. The resident reports the $200 bicycle and chain were missing upon her return. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 20, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Lipke took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The Marion Ave resident reports between July 19 and 20, unknown actors entered his 2010 GMC Acadia parked in his driveway and stole sunglasses, CDs, and change. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On July 20, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Lipke took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The Ferndale Road resident reports between July 19 and 20, unknown actors entered both of his vehicles (2014 and 2015 Mercedes Benz) parked in his driveway and stole a pair of sunglasses. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 20, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to Giorgio Armani at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Giorgio Armani personnel report a male selected and concealed five pairs of sunglasses and left the store without making payment. Store personnel could not provide a value of the theft. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
On July 20, 2015, Springfield Police transported 27 year old Andrew Nadel out of Springfield to Millburn headquarters on a warrant arrest. Nadel was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility pending a court date.
On July 21, 2015, Millburn Police Officer Nacim spoke to a pedestrian at the intersection of Millburn Ave and Reeves Circle. The individual, later determined to be 24 year old Kevin Brown out of Irvington, was found to have an active warrant out of Jersey City Municipal Court. He was placed under arrest and turned over to Jersey City police.
