MILLBURN, NJ — After news broke that Millburn town officials planned to fly a Black Lives Matter flag outside Town Hall for two weeks in October, the Township Committee reversed its decision this past week, The Record reported.

Some committee members said the flag might cause division, and they hadn't known it would be on the agenda.

At a meeting in early September, the committee voted in favor of the flag. Two recent Millburn High School graduates had broached the matter. The original petition for the BLM flag is here.
