More Than $13K Stolen From Mercedes: Millburn Police

The Mercedes parked at the Mall at Short Hills was burglarized in the parking lot, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A costly Halloween trick saw more than $13,000 in merchandise taken from a car in the Mall at Short Hills on Oct. 31, according to the Millburn Police Department.

According to officials, Officer Nacim responded to J lot at the mall on a report of a burglary to motor vehicle. Three patrons from New York report the 2014 Mercedes Benz GL4 they arrived in had a rear window smashed and $13,383 worth of merchandise just purchased had been
taken, police said.

The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
