1. 2 Millburn Parking Lots To Close Wednesday For Work (patch.com) — Millburn drivers who usually park in Lots 19 and 6 should prepare for closures on Wednesday, Sept. 16, as the township performs unspecified work. Permit holders are being directed to use the Essex Street parking garage or Lot 16 near the DPW yard on Main Street while the work is underway.

Local Event: Flu Vaccine Clinic (patch.com) — Millburn's Health Department is hosting a free flu vaccine clinic for adult residents on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon at Gero Park in Short Hills. Standard and high‑dose trivalent shots will be available while supplies last, and homebound residents can also arrange vaccinations by contacting the department.

Violent Crime Remains Low In Millburn, FBI Data Shows (patch.com subscription) — Millburn residents can take some comfort knowing that only two violent crimes were reported in town in 2025, far below state and national rates. FBI data show Millburn's violent crime numbers have generally trended downward for decades, mirroring a broader New Jersey and nationwide decline.

Millburn Township Settles After 10 Years: Chabad House Will Be Built (jewishlink.news) — Millburn Township has agreed to a settlement that clears the way for the Chai Chabad Center to be built on a 3.4‑acre Short Hills property and pays the Bogomilskys $3 million. After years of zoning battles and federal involvement, the unanimous planning board vote means a new synagogue with a sanctuary and classrooms can finally move forward.
