• Millburn Approves Settlement Agreement with Chai Center, Ending Federal Lawsuits (tapinto.net) — Millburn's Township Committee has approved a settlement with the Chai Center for Living Judaism, ending two federal lawsuits over denied synagogue applications on Millburn Avenue and Old Short Hills Road. The agreement avoids further litigation but does not grant automatic building approvals, meaning any future synagogue plans must still go through full public hearings and standard land-use review.
   

• Lee's OT goal lifts Millburn boy soccer past No. 15 Montclair, ends eight-game losing streak (nj.com subscription) — Millburn boys soccer opened its season in dramatic fashion, beating No. 15–ranked Montclair 1–0 in overtime at home to snap an eight-game skid in the series. Ryan Lee buried the golden goal in the 83rd minute, while goalkeeper Andrew Shneyder's eight saves anchored a shutout that marked Millburn's first win over the Mounties since 2017.
