Pedestrian Killed By NJ Transit Train Near Millburn Station
Morris and Essex rail service was delayed Tuesday morning after a NJ Transit train struck a pedestrian near Millburn.

MILLBURN, NJ — NJ Transit said Tuesday morning that a person was struck and killed by a train near Millburn station. The Morris and Essex Line was suspended, then experienced delays.

Morris and Essex Line rail service is suspended in both directions between Dover and East Orange due to a pedestrian strike near Millburn.

Morris and Essex Line and Gladstone Branch rail service has resumed in both directions and is subject to up to 60-minute delays following an earlier pedestrian fatality near Millburn. System-wide cross honoring is in effect for NJ TRANSIT rail, buses, and light rail.
