Petition Posted For Blue Line flag In Millburn, After BLM Debate
Two young alums of Millburn High School asked the city to fly a Black Lives Matter at Town Hall. Some want a Blue Line flag flown too.

MILLBURN, NJ — After news broke that Millburn town officials plan to fly a Black Lives Matter flag outside Town Hall for two weeks in October, a petition was posted online on Thursday to fly a "Blue Line" flag to support police.
There actually has been controversy and debate over both flags for the past few weeks in Millburn, most recently at a September Township Committee meeting. During debate over the BLM flag, some said it would just encourage various other groups to ask for their flag to be posted.
And the controversy is part of larger debates erupting nationally.
