Police Investigate Motor Vehicle Burglaries

One teen was arrested, but the investigation is ongoing. The burglaries were reported in the Wyoming section.

Millburn police are investigating a number of motor vehicle burglaries in the Wyoming section and have made one arrest.

Millburn police arrested a Newark teen early Monday morning in connection with three motor vehicle burglaries. Ramone K. Hannah-Dismukes, 19, was charged with three counts of burglary and one count of theft of movable property.

At about 4:30 a.m. Maplewood police contacted Millburn police that they had Hannah-Dismukes in custody as a suspect of burglarizing several cars in Millburn township, police said. Officers were able to locate a Myrtle Avenue "home address" on one of two GPS units recovered, police said. A vehicle at that address was found to have been entered and the owner reported a GPS unit stolen, according to police.
