Police: Woman Left Scene of Car Crash
Also, police investigate thefts at the Mall at Short Hills.

One driver in a two-car crash at Millburn Avenue and Morris Turnpike drove away from the scene, according to police.
The crash was reported at just after 9 a.m. on Monday, and the driver of one vehicle, a Springfield resident, reported she was turning from the left lane on Millburn Avenue onto Morris Turnpike when the second vehicle struck the passenger side of her Honda Odyssey.
The driver of the vehicle pulled over, but police said she reported the second driver left the scene. Police said the car that left the scene is an older model, four-door vehicle dark in color and was driven by an "elderly female." There were no reported injuries.

Police Investigate Thefts at Mall at Short Hills
Millburn police investigated three thefts at the Mall at Short Hills, including a motor vehicle burglary.

On Sunday morning, the Talbots assistant manager reported a female had just stolen two articles of clothing. The area was checked, but the woman was not located, police said. The clothing had a combined value of $538.
On Friday, the manager at Restoration Hardware reported the theft of several pieces of furniture from a storage area. The furniture is valued at $1,648, and police believe it was taken between 10 a.m. on Aug. 1 and 10 p.m. on Aug. 6.
A White House Station resident reported last Monday a burglary to his vehicle while parked at the mall. The car was parked between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., and the driver's side window was smashed and an iPod valued at $300 was taken.
