Firefighters responded to a report of an electrical burning smell at the restaurant at 8:45 p.m. and needed to evacuate a fully occupied restaurant, according to a fire department report.
Firefighters found a burned out sump pump in the basement that was causing the smell, according to the report. The area was full of sewage and caused the pump to overwork and burn out.

Firefighters checked the area with thermal imaging cameras and found no extension of the problem.
No food handling areas were affected by the incident.

Millburn Firefighters Assist at Summit Fire
Millburn firefighters assisted at a Summit fire on Friday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the scene at 147 Canoe Brook Parkway at just before 1:30 p.m. and were on scene until just before 3:15 p.m.
The fire was in the kitchen of the residence, according to a fire department report, and Millburn firefighters stretched a second hose through the garage. Summit firefighters had stretched one hose through the front door.
Millburn firefighters also secured the utilities and ventilated the residence while monitoring the carbon monoxide levels.
Millburn has an automatic mutual aid agreement with Summit for reports of a building fire.
Two Injured in Route 24 Crash
Two people were injured in a rollover accident on Route 24 on Sunday morning.
The accident was just before 10 a.m. near the Route 78 split in Springfield, according to a fire department report.
The vehicle had rolled over one or two times before landing on its wheels, and the driver side door was jammed, according to the report. Firefighters used a jaw speader to open the door and then stabilized the vehicle so it would not roll down the grass shoulder.
Firefighters assessed and treated the two injured passengers before Springfield EMS and firefighters arrived at the scene and released them.
No Injuries Reported in Parsonage Hill Crash
No one was injured in a Parsonage Hill Road three-car accident on Friday.
The accident was reported at about 7:50 p.m. in front of 440 Parsonage Hill Road, according to a fire department report. Antifreeze spilled on to the road from one of the vehicles and firefighters used a drying agent to remove it.
