Rolex Fraud Caught At Short Hills Mall: Police

Trevor Stjohn was charged after trying to buy an $8,150 watch with a counterfeit credit card, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A 40-year-old Brooklyn, NY, man was arrested and charged with fraud after attempting to scam a store out of a Rolex watch, according to the Millburn Police Department.

According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to the Sidney Thomas store at The Mall at Short Hills on a fraud report. Sidney Thomas personnel told Lanni that Trevor Stjohn attempted to purchase a Rolex watch valued at $8150 using a counterfeit credit card, police said.

Stjohn was placed under arrest and charged with fraud and possession of a counterfeit license before being released on a summons, police said.
