School Opens in Millburn-Short Hills Today

Students head back to classes across the district.

School bells will be ringing across Millburn-Short Hills today as students head back for the first day of classes.

The five elementary schools—Deerfield, Glenwood, Hartshorn, South Mountain and Wyoming—start at 8:40 a.m. Millburn Middle School opens at 7:40 a.m. The high school has a scattered schedule with freshmen expected at 7:45 a.m. and seniors at 8:15 a.m. Classes start at 9:37 a.m. for all high school students.

Elementary school families can find out their teachers via Edline if they haven't already. Paper work that traditionally is mailed to students during the summer will be distributed on the first day of school. Families also should have received bus information via e-mail in August. If families do not have their bus information, they should e-mail Transportation Director, Kathleen McGowan at kathleen.mcgowan@millburn.org for the information. Do not call her.
