Short Hills Macy's Employee Charged With Theft

MILLBURN, NJ - A 21-year-old Maplewood man was arrested and charged with theft for allegedly stealing from the Macy's he was employed at, according to the Millburn Police Department.

According to officials, Officer Lanni responded to Macy's at the Mall at Short Hills on Oct. 12 on a report that an employee was stealing. Macy's personnel reported Dangelo Padilla took $50 in cash from a register, and has committed other thefts over the last three months, police said.

Padilla was placed under arrest and charged with theft before being released on a summons, police said.
