Store Burglarized Twice In One Day In Short Hills

Two women are sought after more than $2,500 in merchandise is stolen.

MILLBURN, NJ - Dec. 13 was not a great day for the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Mall at Short Hills as thieves took more than $2,500 is merchandise from the store without paying, according to the Millburn Police Department.

According to authorities, Millburn Police Officer Freem responded to the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report where personnel said a black female wearing a blue hat, purple sweatshirt with the word "Pink," and gray pants took a handbag valued at $1650 and wallet valued at $375 and left the store without making payment. Employees also reported a second black female wearing a white hat, yellow jacket, gray pants, and purple boots took a scarf valued at $490 and left the store without making payment.

The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
