Thursday is Veterans Day

1. World War I ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. Now known as Veterans Day, people across the country will pause Thursday to honor those who have served the United States in the military. Millburn's  will hold true to the tradition with a ceremony at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

2. Veterans Day also is a state and federal holiday. and other town offices will be closed Thursday in observance. Millburn-Short Hills schools, though, will be in session. And the will be open.
