Two Charged With Shoplifting From Abercrombie: Millburn Police
Leroy Holmes and Mary Cobb removed sensor tags from the items they took, police said.

MILLBURN, NJ - A 43-year-old Newark man and a 54-year-old Newark woman were arrested and charged with shoplifting after taking more than $500 in merchandise from Abercrombie on Jan. 17, according to the Millburn Police Department.
Millburn Police Officer Wichelns responded·to the Abercrombie store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report where Abercrombie employees said Leroy Holmes and Mary Cobb removed the sensors on three items valued at $548, concealed them in a backpack, and left the store without making payment, police said.
Both individuals were placed under arrest and issued summonses for shoplifting. Mary Cobb was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility on a warrant, police said.
