MILLRUN, NJ — If you're wondering where your toddler will go to school next year, you might consider the Integrated Preschool Program in Millburn, which educates both "typically developing" students and those in need of special services.

The Millburn Township Public School district is accepting applications for the program through Feb. 4.

The Integrated Preschool Program began in September of 1993. Each year, it first accepts preschoolers who are have been state-approved for special services (for example, students who are speech delayed or need occupational or other therapies). Those students don't pay for the program, but once the classes are filled up, "regular-ed" students who apply can fill the remaining spots and also take advantage of the specialists on site. A general preschool curriculum is followed for all students.
