Meat Thieves Strike Again At Montclair Supermarket: Police
It isn't the first time that the supermarket has reported shoplifting incidents involving large quantities of meat.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A theft involving hundreds of dollars-worth of meat was reported at the Kings Supermarket on Valley Road in Montclair last week, authorities said Tuesday.
Here’s what happened on Feb. 18, the Montclair Police Department said:
“Store supervisors at Kings Supermarket reported a shoplifting that occurred. Two males entered the store and filled reusable bags with various meat products. They attempted to leave the store without making payment. One suspect left with a bag full of meat. The second suspect left his bag near the front entrance. They were last seen walking east on Inwood Avenue. The bag that was left contained $253 worth of meat.”
It isn’t the first time that the supermarket has reported shoplifting incidents involving large quantities of meat.
