Montclair BOE Considers Proposed $130M School Budget

The spending plan – which is still in development – is $2.22 million overbudget, Montclair school officials said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — The details still need to be hammered out, but for now, the Montclair Public School District has a preliminary budget for the 2019-2020 school year.

During their Feb. 19 meeting, members of the Montclair Board of Education heard details about a $130 million proposed budget for the upcoming school year. The spending plan – which is still in development – is $2.22 million overbudget, TAP Into Montclair reported. (Read the full article here)

The Board of Education will conduct a public meeting to discuss the 2019-2020 budget on Monday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. in the George Inness Annex Atrium, 141 Park Street, Montclair.
