Montclair 'Coffee With Cop' Event Will Include New Chiefs
Attendees at the May 23 Montclair event will include the MPD's acting police chief and new deputy chiefs.

Montclair, NJ - The Montclair Police Department Community Service Unit (CSU) will host its next “Coffee with a Cop” event at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 23, at Java Love's 49 Church Street location.
The community event will be attended by recently-appointed Acting Police Chief Todd Conforti and acting Deputy Chiefs of Police Tracy Frazzano and Wilhelm Young, who “look forward to meeting and greeting township residents, business owners and workers while enjoying their morning java,” a township news release stated.

“The CSU strives to form partnerships with all of Montclair - residents as well as business owners,” town officials stated. “All too often, the community only interacts with the police in times of crisis.The idea behind Coffee with a Cop is to afford the public an opportunity to meet and speak with local law enforcement professionals in an open and friendly atmosphere.”

According to a town news release, the program is being successfully conducted by over 175 different police agencies in 36 different states.
