Montclair Cooperative School To Hold Annual Benefit Auction

From the Montclair Cooperative School: The Montclair Cooperative School will host its largest fundraiser of the year at the Montclair Art Museum on Saturday, April 8th, at 6:30 pm.

The annual event, which this year is organized around the theme Come Together, will feature gourmet food prepared by In Thyme Catered Events, drinks, music, raffles and both a silent and live auction. Attendees will be able to bid on many items this year using their smartphones. In the live auction, professional auctioneer Robert Milligan will guide attendees as they bid on items that in the past have included tickets to television show tapings, behind the scenes tours of theatrical events, stays in magnificent vacation homes, dinners at fine restaurants, and a variety of artwork created by students. All prizes are donated by families, friends and local businesses.

Proceeds from the event are used to support the most pressing needs of students at the school. Over the last five years, the annual Benefit Auctions have raised an average of $75,000 in revenue.
