Montclair Pre-K School Gets United Way Grants
The Montclair Community Pre-K received two grants from the United Way of Northern New Jersey. See what they'll pay for here.

Montclair, NJ - The Montclair Community Pre-K (MCPK) recently secured two, three-year grants from the United Way of Northern New Jersey, school officials announced.
According to MCKA administrators, the first grant provides $13,500 in annual funding for MCPK’s Scholarship Assistance program, which supports the school’s mission that “no family in Montclair will be turned away for financial reasons.”
The second grant provides $5,000 in annual funding for MCPK’s Early Learning Institute for Educators, which offers professional development to local teachers, administrators and college students and delivers on the school’s mission to “be an impactful member of the Montclair community.”

The grants are part of the United Way’s “Success By 6” initiative, which works to “ensure that all children from infancy through preschool receive a quality foundation that prepares them to enter kindergarten ready to learn.”
“We are grateful that the United Way of Northern New Jersey has provided us with ongoing support for these initiatives,” MCPK Executive Director Stephanie Fitzgerald stated.

“The Montclair Community Pre-K is a great model for how to deliver a high-quality early childhood education program,” said United Way Success By 6 Manager JoAnn Quattro.
