MONTCLAIR, NJ — A game of musical chairs on the Montclair Board of Education continued on Thursday with the approval of a new member.
The school board voted to appoint Sean Long as its newest member at a special meeting on Thursday. He replaces Kimberly Robinson Santos, who was appointed in June as a temporary replacement for Crystal Hopkins – who resigned from her seat on the board earlier this year.
Robinson-Santos was the board’s top-ranked candidate, but she had to decline the position. Long was the next-highest ranked choice, board president Melanie Deysher told Montclair Local.
