Montclair Schools Welcome Two New Principals
Samanthaa Lennon Anglin will take the helm at Hillside and Anthony Grosso will become the new principal at Watchung.

First days can be hard for students.

This year the Montclair School District will welcome two new principals to Watchung and Hillside schools.

Both are familiar faces in the district.
Samanthaa Lennon Anglin, the former assistant principal at Glenfield School is taking the helm at Hillside, while Anthony Grosso, a former teacher and assistant principal at Hillside, will transfer to become Watchung School’s new head administrator.

- Anglin is an 11-year employee of the district who has served as the vice principal of Glenfield Middle School and as a teacher at Northeast School
- Grosso served as a principal in the Saddle Brook Public Schools, and was a teacher and assistant principal in Montclair from 2001 to 2013
