“Winners each receive $100, and there will be a televised awards ceremony at Watchung Booksellers, where the winning stories will be read aloud. The deadline has been extended to midnight on March 8. Stories can be in any genre, 500 to 2,500 words, and must observe the same guidelines in subject matter and language that would apply in school. Entries should be typed and double-spaced, with numbered pages. The author’s name, phone number, grade and school name (unless home-schooled) should be on every page.”
