ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A young West Caldwell girl’s recent act of kindness towards the clients of the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair has brought smiles to the faces of many community members.
According to a Facebook post from the food pantry, Izzy Lopez of West Caldwell has been saving her “chores money” since her eighth birthday this past year so that she could purchase several bags of school supplies to donate. Lopez and her mother made the much-welcomed donation last week, food pantry staff stated.
“Thank you, Izzy… your generosity is inspirational,” pantry staff wrote.
