Adults Become B'nai Mitzvah at Pine Brook Jewish Center

On March 1, after two intensive, inspiring
years of study, nine congregants (left to right: Meredith Persson, Michelle Zuckerman, Sheila
Basem, Tom Milkowski, Ilene Thailer, Nancy Drillings, Kim Moss, Karen Kraut.
Not shown Judy Eisen) from Pine Brook
Jewish Center will be called to the bimah and become adult B'nai Mitzvah. Together
they learned in a short time to read Hebrew and understand the rhythm of the
Shabbat prayers. The community is warmly invited to share and celebrate their
accomplishments as they demonstrate their achievements. Their shared experience
has bound them together as a family and Rabbi Mark Finkel, Cantor Menachem
Toren and the congregation are honored to share in their simcha.
