Boonton Native Alison Doppelt Receives Graduation Award from MGH Institute of Health Professions

Boonton native Alison Doppelt received the 2014 Loyd Nichols Staats Scholarship Award from the School of Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions during the Boston health sciences graduate school’s commencement ceremonies in May.

Doppelt, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, was recognized for her high level of academic achievement as a student in the 14-month program.

The scholarship is named in honor of the brother of Mary Staats SON ’37 - Loyd Nichols Staats, who died as an infant.

Prior to attending the MGH Institute, she earned a bachelor’s degree in public health from Tulane University where she majored in Public Health.
