While the Montville High School Marching Band is already busy planning the upcoming season, the Montville High School Percussion Ensemble is participating in several exciting events. In February they performed at the USBands Indoor Competition. With additional new members the percussion ensemble performs on a much higher level this year. The 16 students meet twice a week for rehearsals besides all the competitions, concerts and other engagements. The photo was taken at the Regional Competition in Trumbull, CT. In April the Percussion Ensemble will compete at the USBands Indoor Championship. Several performances at the Youth New Music Concert with FTM (Face the Music) in Montville and New York City are scheduled for May. Stay tuned for more information on these upcoming events.
