Residents near the work zone are advised to speak with on-site officers for access, and drivers heading to Woodland Road must approach from the Montville High School side and follow posted detours.

• Data Centers the Focus of Sept. 8 Montville Township Committee Meeting (tapinto.net) — Montville residents packed the Sept. 8 Township Committee meeting to press officials on how the town will regulate potential data center development before any applications arrive. Speakers raised concerns about environmental impacts, power and water use, and community health, while the township planner recommended a targeted regulatory approach that restricts large standalone data centers but still allows limited accessory computer facilities for local businesses.

• Class of 2017 rings blessed at All Saints' Mass (beaconnj.org) — Montville is represented at All Saints Academy's opening Mass through Father Mark Olenowski, pastor of St. Pius X Parish in town, who concelebrated with Bishop Kevin Sweeney. The bishop blessed 8th graders' class rings, reflected on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and encouraged students to look to local first responders as examples of service.
