Please Sign Petition to Cancel or Reroute the JCP&L Montville-Whippany Reinforcement Project

JCP&L is proposing a transmission line upgrade through Montville along the same route as the recent PSE&G project. The proposed route is from the Montville substation on Changebridge Road to East Hanover substation. Wooden poles will be replaced with 100 foot metal towers and the 34 kV lines will be upgraded to 230 kV.

This will impact many residents including those in Montville Chase and The Meadows and will actually run closer to Lazar Middle School than the PSE&G line.
