Best in Class Brings New Education Opportunity to Moorestown
The grand opening for the 714 East Main Street location is March 21.

A teacher who entered the field at the age of 21 is bringing a new concept in education to Moorestown.
Ruchika Arora is opening a Best in Class in Moorestown, and will hold her grand opening of the 714 East Main Street location on March 21,
Based in Seattle, Best in Class emphasises student engagement in critical thinking and helping them to gain skills that are vital for future professional and developmental achievement. They say their mission is twofold: build better teachers; build successful students.

The emphasis on critical thinking is what attracted Arora to Best in Class. She was looking for something to supplement her 7-year-old daughter’s education.
“This is exactly what I was looking for,” she said.

But with no locations in the area, it was up to Arora to open the first, not just in New Jersey but on the East Coast. There are 46 locations nationwide.
Arora has been teaching for 14 years. She was a special education teacher for elementary and middle school students in Piscataway for five years. She primarily taught autistic students.
She’s been a special education teacher for math and English at BCIT for five years.
She is aiming for class size ratios of 8 students for every teacher in math, and 6 students for every teacher in language arts.
She will manage the location, which offers SAT prep, tutoring and gifted test prep for students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Classes will take place from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. on Thursdays and 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Cost will be $120 per month per subject.
Arora recommends Best in Class for a variety of people, from parents who want their children to get ahead, to anyone who is falling behind or trying to keep up with an ever-changing educational environment.
“I would recommend this for parents look to build up confidence for their child,” said Arora, who said the programs will help students get ready for PARCC testing.
The curriculum is constantly changing and evolving to meet common core standards.
Those attending the March 21 grand opening will be eligible to for a free kindle, iPad, store prizes and free assessments. Students will have the opportunity to sign up and receive two free classes.
The first 30 people will receive a door prize.
